Reuben's Risk-It Margarita

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz blanco tequila
• 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz triple sec
• 0.5 oz jalapeño syrup
• 1 tsp agave syrup
• Salt and chili powder rim

Instructions

1. 1Rim a rocks glass with lime juice and dip in a 50/50 mix of salt and chili powder
2. 2Combine tequila, lime juice, triple sec, jalapeño syrup, and agave in a shaker with ice
3. 3Shake hard for 15 seconds and strain over fresh ice in the rimmed glass
4. 4The jalapeño and chili rim create a risk-proportionate heat level
5. 5Adjust heat tolerance by adding more or less jalapeño syrup to taste
6. 6Garnish with a lime wedge and a thin round of fresh jalapeño on the rim
